He is definitely mayoral material. Look at the guy's accomplishments: reducing the city's business tax, cleaning up the environment (he wrote and championed the clean water bond), cleaning up Hollywood, and being out there with his convictions on Obama. Plus, he has embraced the netroots and the use of the Internet as an early adopter. Just imagine what an Obama-style mayor could do. Nothing against our current mayor, but Garcetti seems more effective and focused.

I like Eric. He's a nice guy. But every time I've brought an issue to his attention, he says, "Oh, gee, that's what the Mayor wants."

You know something? If Eric thinks that the City Council president can't do anything on a lot of these things, then I think he's not suited to be Mayor.

Awfully nice guy. But I've not seen the balls to take a stand and get things done.
